Aviation Maintenance Technology

Degree Potential

Graduates are employed as maintenance technicians and/or aircraft mechanics by major/commuter airlines, corporate aviation groups, and the manufacturing industry.  Some are self-employed, while others are hired by the federal government or armed forces. 

Laddering Opportunities

For students interested in pursuing a degree beyond the associate, the credits earned in the associate degree are transferable to the baccalaureate degree program in technology and applied sciences with some loss of credit.
