Daryl Delongchamp has been a faculty member at Northern Michigan University since 2001. He teaches courses in the construction management program and serves as faculty advisor for the Northern Michigan Constructors student chapter.
Professor Delongchamp has extensive experience in building construction, design and documentation, including project coordination between multi-discipline staff, consultants, clients and contractors. Prior to his position with Northern Michigan University, he worked in the architectural design industry as a senior designer, contract administrator, project manager and director of architectural services.
Professor Delongchamp completed a four-year apprenticeship program and has a journeyman carpenter’s certification. He has many years of construction, construction management, and field investigation experience. He has worked extensively in both the residential and commercial building industry.
