The Culinary Café is dedicated to providing customers with inexpensive, quality food. It is among three of the Technology and Occupational Sciences department's primary student-based services. All first-year hospitality management students are required to undergo the necessary training and hands-on experience in preparing quality foods within this busy café setting.
The Café offers lunch to students, staff, faculty and members of the community at reasonable costs and therefore receives a significant amount of traffic on a daily basis.
Students within the Culinary Café work closely with Professors Deborah Pearce (fall semester) and Christopher Kibit (winter semester) to offer diverse foods in a traditional café setting while learning to prepare foods, serve guests and properly maintain a kitchen setting.
