BSW Senior, Mandy Smith, works on a Facebook project to help connect young people with United Way

Mandy Smith, BSW of the Class of 2009, is a field placement student at the United Way this year.  One of the things she is involved in this year is creating a path for a younger generation to be more involved with United Way’s cause.  Facebook was an easy vehicle to accomplish this because United Way of America put out a national call to become part of this online community.  The facebook page is currently up and running with 34 members.  Join the online community  and Live United!   To find out more about the United Way, visit the local United Waywebsite.
