Our Graduates in Action

NMU BSW Alumni All
Delta County Juvenile Court Director, Tammy Wetthuhn, works with probation staff Leslie Stanek and Lindsey Dufresne.

Are there jobs in this field?  What’s it really like to work with A BSW degree? What can I expect by way of salary and benefits? These are common questions that we hear from current and prospective students. Although you will find many answers to these questions in the Students section of this web site, there's nothing like hearing from graduates themselves and learning from their experiences.  So, instead of just giving you the official facts,  we’ve been asking alumni to tell you about their experiences in their own words.  Here are the stories submitted by some of our most recent graduates. More will be added as they become available.  So, if you are a graduate of the Department of Sociology and Social Work yourself  and would like to share your story, please e-mail the Department at sosw@nmu.edu
