Three expert panelists presented Great Lakes Symposium: Politics and Policy of Protecting the Great Lakes on Friday, Oct. 3 as part of the department's homecoming events. The panelists were David Dempsey, journalist and author of Great Lakes For Sale: From Whitecaps to Bottle Caps; Ken Sikkema, national expert on water and environmental issues, policy expert and former senate majority leader; and Tom Baldini, former chairman of the International Joint Commission.
