Interests
Dr. Cooper specializes in applied ethics, social and political philosophy and philosophy of psychology. He is currently conducting research on methods of teaching applied ethics that are designed to help students develop intellectual understandings of major theoretical alternatives, sensitivity to strategies of application, a commitment to justice in professional practice and a capacity to feel empathy for those who are different.
