Reynolds Recital HallThe Reynolds Recital Hall, a feature of the newly renovated Hedgcock Student Center, is one of the most architecturally and acoustically inspiring performance venues in the state of Michigan.  Its 300 plus seating and unique acoustical designed allows for an unparalleled musical experience for both the listeners and performers.

Named in honor of Phyllis and Max Reynolds, the recital hall is easily accessible from the Music Department’s teaching and rehearsal building. The interior convex walls are provided with adjustable curtains, which can be opened or closed allow for a wide variety of acoustical nuances.  This ability to modify the hall to the kind of music and or the size of the ensemble performing allows for a quintessential listening experience for all. 

The recital hall houses two Steinway grand pianos, a Walker digital organ, and a yet to be equipped recording both.  Recital Hall is used for all departmental recitals and concert performances.
