ROTC  in the Classroom and Community
Cadets Ziffer, Stahlmann, Simmon and McCoy receive awards at the Fall 2008 Award Ceremony NMU ROTC cadets participated in an awards ceremony at the end of the Fall 2008 semester. At this event, several cadets were recognized by the battalion for their service to academics, ROTC and the community. List of Awards and Recipients.

Leaders' Training Course (LTC)

Earn $6,000 this Summer!

NMU's ROTC offers a 28-day summer leadership internship opportunity that pays up to $6,000.  Spend 28 days at Ft. Knox, KY and develop your leadership skills through a variety of activities including rappelling, water obstacles, rock climbing and more! Students who complete the course qualify for a 2-year Army ROTC scholarship with 100% tuition.

NMU ROTC Offers Incentive for Language Skills

Cadets in the classroomHave you ever wanted to learn Arabic or Chinese? Ever wanted to find out more about the cultures of Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan? If you are enrolled in a Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SROTC), you can earn Foreign Language and Cultural Studies Skill Proficiency Bonus (SPB) by enrolling in a critical foreign language or culture studies program.
