What's New In Spalding Hall

Upcoming Events:

  • The Gallery's House dinner will be Monday's at 6pm.
  • Spalding will be hosting Capture the Flag all around campus! This exciting game will start after Homecoming..
  • House of Wonders has their house dinner every Sunday at 5pm.
  • House of Wonders is taking sign-ups for Ultimate Frisbee and and Volleyball. See RA Kyle if you are interested.

2009-2010 in Spalding Hall :

  • Co-hosted a Quad I BBQ during move-in weekend.
  • All hall hike up Sugarloaf Mountain during welcome weekend.
  • Gant/Spalding BBQ bash on Labor Day weekend.
  • Co-hosted a black light party with Gant Hall in the Gant/Spalding basement.
  • Hosted a Superior Edge orientaiton.
  • Participated in the all-hall kickball tourney.
  • Participated in Homecoming and took 3rd in the decorated car and 2nd in the spirit banner competitions.
  • All-Hall Marshmallow assassination.
  • Safariy participated in the all-campus Hidden City Sleep Out.
  • Participated in Make a Difference Day

Superior Edge: Fall 2009

Spalding Hall has 113 residents involved in the Superior Edge Program and as of October 26 have logged 511 hours during the fall semester.

During welcome weekend almost 60 Spalding residents went for a hike to Sugarloaf Mountain.

Breakfast Club had a tiki party during the lovely fall weather.

With the weather turning chilly, Stay Tooned decided to stay in and see a campus movie.

Hidden City

Although the fall weather can get chilly, Safairy residents had fun building a cardboard house and sleeping in it for the Hidden City Sleep out.

Glow Bowling

The Gallery enjoyed a night of Glow Bowling.
