Meet NMU's Resident Directors

Werner Reynolds Courtney "Werner" Reynolds, who is originally from the small town of Juneau, Wisconsin, is the coordinator of apartment services. Prior to becoming the coordinator of apartment services, Werner was the Resident Director of Meyland Hall for three years. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a legal studies emphasis at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. While at UW-Eau Claire Werner was a Resident Adviser for 3 years and the Vice President of their National Residence Hall Honorary. Werner is currently working towards a masters degree in training and development and is an avid Packers fan.

Lina Blair

Caroline "Lina" Blair is originally from southern Illinois and came to Northern in 2001 as a freshman.  Lina was involved in First Impressions, the Student Leader Fellowship Program and house and hall government.  She then became a resident adviser in Gant Hall, where she is currently the resident director.  Lina graduated from NMU with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2005.  She completed her master's degree in training and development in May 2008.

Lindsay Sparks

Lindsay Sparks, born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, came to NMU from Indiana University. She was a resident adviser for two years and obtained a degree in sports marketing and management with a minor in business.  Lindsay is beginning her third year as the resident director of  Halverson Hall and is also taking classes and working towards obtaining  her masters degree.

Kristy

Kristy Brzezinski was raised in Manistique, Michigan and graduated from Iron Mountain High school. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in social welfare form NMU.  Prior to becoming the Resident Director of Hunt Hall, Kristy was a community advisor for the on-campus apartments. She plans to begin her master's degree in training and development in 2008. Kristy is also the proud mother to her 14 year-old son, Dustin.

Josh Santiago

Josh Santiago is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from The University of Wisconsin � Parkside with a degree in Sociology /Anthropology and a minor in Studio Arts in May 2008. He is looking to further his education and hopes to obtain a masters degree in Administration and Supervision at NMU. This is Josh�s first year at NMU as the Resident Director of Magers Hall.

Megan Butcher

Megan Butcher, from Woodbury, Minnesota, received her degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Winona State in May 2008. She formerly was involved in Residence Life for two years as a Resident Assistant and one year as an Assistant Hall Director. Megan also enjoyed participating as a student senator and club secretary. In addition to being the Meyland Hall Resident Director, Megan loves being a creative social butterfly, watching movies, and bowling.

Aaron Nowicki

Aaron hails from Cheboygan, Michigan.  He attended Michigan Technological University where he received a bachelor's degree in computer science. While there, he served as a resident adviser for two years and a staff supervisor for one year. Aaron is starting his second year as the resident director of Payne Hall and is finishing work on his MBA..

Megan DelBello, born and raised in Lake City, Michigan, graduated from NMU in 2005 with a degree in Political Science and in 2007 with a degree in Entertainment and Sports Promotion. Megan was a resident adviser for one year in Gant Hall and two yeasr in Spalding Hall, and was the president of Primetime Productions before she became the Resident Director of Spooner Hall. Megan is starting her second year as RD in Spooner.

Brett DeLonge is originally from Hesperia, Michigan and graduated from NMU in May of 2008 with a degree in Environmental Conservation. Prior to taking on the role of Resident Director in Spalding Hall Brett was a resident advisor in Magers Hall for three years. Brett also participated in and graduated from the Student Leader Fellowship Program in 2005. In his spare time, Brett enjoys being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Courtney McNeal is originally from Willits, California and received her degree in History with a minor in Educational Studies from Ripon College. While at Ripon Courtney was involved with the Student Senate, Orientation Committee, Programming Board, and was a Resident Adviser for one year. Courtney was also a member of Ripon's varsity soccer and swim teams. Courtney is the resident director in Van Antwerp Hall and is starting her second year in that position. She is currently working on her masters in Training and Development.

Paul Johnston

Paul Johnston, originally from Weidman, Mich., came to NMU in 2001 for an undergraduate degree in environmental science.  Paul was a resident advisor for three years--two years in Van Antwerp Hall and one year in Magers Hall.  After he completed his degree in 2006, he was hired as the resident director of West Hall, where he is starting his third year.
