2009-2010 Bike Storage

Bike storageBike storage will take place beginning November 18th and will run through November 20th at Spooner Hall. Bike storage is a free service offered to students living in the residence halls and on-campus apartments that allows for bikes to be stored in a clean, dry and secured place during the winter months. All bikes must be registered with Public Safety before they can be stored.  If you haven't registered your bike yet, you may do so when you bring it to Spooner Hall to check it in for the winter. You must provide your own bike lock as well.

To store your bike for the winter, you must bring your student ID, bike and bike lock to the Spooner Hall Front desk during the following times:

Wednesday, November 18- Friday, November 20

  • Noon to 6:00pm

Bike storage is provided for the entire winter. Bike Retrieval will be April 5- April 7 from Noon to 6PM at the Spooner Hall front desk. An email reminder will be sent out closer to this date to remind you to pick-up your bike.

ALL bikes must be removed from bike racks prior to Friday, November 20. Bicycles not removed by by Housing and Residence Life Staff and handled as abandoned property in accordance with university policy. 

  • A $25 retrieval fee will be charged to students who pick up bicycles removed by university staff.
  • Bicycles may not be stored on the stationary, covered racks.

TAKE IT HOME!

Students who are taking their bicycle home at Thanksgiving may leave it on the racks until they leave.  REMEMBER – if your bicycle is not removed when you leave for break, it will be removed by Housing and Residence Life staff and handled as abandoned property.
