More About NMU Housing

Housing and Residence Life's Green Tip of the Week:

Residence Halls: Take a shorter shower. Every two minutes you save on your shower can conserve more than ten gallons of water.

Apartments: Bring your own bags to the grocery store.

Marketplace: Start out with small portions and go back for more if you are hungry. This can help reduce the amount of food waste, which averages about 1.25 pounds per meal.

Housing Requirement

Northern has housing requirement that requires all single undergraduate students to live in the residence halls during their first two years of enrollment at NMU. To learn more about this requirement, click here.

The renovation of Hunt Hall is complete and residents are now calling it home!
