Department Administration

Northern Michigan University's Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department is a combined department with undergraduate major programs in athletic training, community health, school health education, health and fitness management, K-12 physical education, physical education/coaching, sports science, and outdoor recreation leadership and management.

There is also a master's degree program in exercise science. The department head is the primary administrator for the department. Coordinators for each of the program areas are assigned by the faculty.
