Outstanding Senior Award

Each year, the Geography Department recognizes an outstanding graduating senior who is selected on the basis of his or her academic work, campus leadership and personal qualities.

The geography faculty chose Paul Holeva as the department’s 2006-07 Outstanding Graduating Senior.

Paul, from Ypsilanti, Mich., is attending graduate school. As an NMU senior, he was the chair of the Superior Geography Club and Gamma Theta Upsilon, the geographic honor society.
