Economics-specific internships are harder to find than some areas of study, but it doesn't mean internships that pertain to your study of economics are not readily available.
Look for internships in specific areas of economics that most interest you. For instance, if you’re interested in the world market, explore internships with banking or financial service organizations. Or, if you feel strongly about local, national or global issues and how they directly impact populations consider internships in journalism or with a government agency.
The Economics Department, Academic and Career Advisement Center and Career Services are places on campus where you can go to discuss internship possibilities.
