Sue Young

Ms. Young joined the Criminal Justice Department in June 1998, but she has worked at NMU since 1972. She has an Associate's degree in General Business from NMU. While working in the Military Science Department, Sue was recognized by the U.S. Army as 1 of 16 individuals nationwide for her performance excellence in the preparation of commissioning packets. In 2008 she was selected to receive NMU's Excellence-In-Service Award for her distinguished performance, dedication, and service for furthering the goals of the university. She is a native of the Upper Peninsula and has one daughter, Lori Oelhafen. She and her husband Scott enjoy spending time at their log cabin in the woods.
