John R. Andrews

Professor Andrews teaches a variety of courses in corrections. He was employed for 30 years with the Michigan Department of Corrections. Prior to his retirement, he served as deputy warden of the Alger Maximum Correctional Facility. In addition to his professional and teaching experience, Mr. Andrews has studied the German prison system at Fachochshule Niederhein in Monchengladback, Germany. He holds a Bachelor's degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University and a master's of public administration degree from Western Michigan University.
