Ned Ludlow talks about Loss Prevention

Ned Ludlow, vice president of loss prevention for Williams-Sonoma was a guest speaker on NMU's campus as part of NMU's College of Business Seminar Series.

Mr. Ned Ludlow is presently the vice president of loss prevention for Williams-Sonoma, a nation-wide specialty retailer of high quality products for the home, with annual sales of nearly $4 billion. Prior to joining Williams-Sonoma in January 1998, Mr. Ludlow was employed from 1980 by Casual Corner Group, Inc., a nationwide specialty retailer of women’s apparel. He held various positions there, the last being director of loss prevention. Mr. Ludlow also has management experience in discount department stores, men’s apparel and the guard service industry.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Williams-Sonoma sells its products through six e-commerce Web sites, eight mail order catalogs, and over 600 stores such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBTeen, West Elm, and Williams-Sonoma Home.
