Goals for Organization:
- Provide opportunities for improved communication among individual members and other student chapters
- Bring a wider landscape of opportunities for students at the university
- Prepare members for a career in wildlife biology, conservation and management
- Have educational programs on wildlife issues for the campus and surrounding community
- Promote the development of awareness of wildlife issues.
Activities:
- DNR deer check station volunteers
- Presque Isle deer census
- build/hang/monitor bird houses
- group hikes and/or snowshoeing
- Earth Day
- Make a Difference Day
- Wolf Awareness Week information table
- bake sales
- guest speakers in wildlife-related fields.
