The Superior Dome is the site of NMU's commencement ceremony. The December event is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 12. Tickets are not required for family and friends.

Ceremony Live on Internet

B2 Networks and WNMU Public Television will stream the NMU commencement ceremony via the Internet, free of charge. The broadcast and Internet stream will be done in high definition.

For more information on the B2 presentation, click here. This is believed to be one of the first ever Internet-streamed events done in HD.

Family and friends who live in the Upper Peninsula can watch the ceremony on WNMU-TV, which is found on Channel 13 in most of the broadcast area (check local listings).

Honors Breakfast

Les WongNMU President Les Wong addressed graduating honors students at the May 2009 Honors Breakfast.  The Honors Breakfast celebrates the outstanding achievements of students and faculty members. The ceremony takes place on commencement Saturday and is held in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.
