The Seaborg Center sponsored the twenty-fourth Upper Peninsula Region I Michigan Science Olympiad Tournament. Middle school and high school teams from across the U.P. tested their skills in science and technology. For more information, visit our U.P. Region I Science Olympiad site.

Athletic Training Students Attend GLATA Meeting

Students from the Athletic Training Education Program attended the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association (GLATA) Winter Meeting in Minneapolis, Minn. in March.  GLATA strives to enhance the quality of health care for the physically active, promote the athletic trainer and advance the profession of athletic training through education and research in the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injuries.

Wallace Named Interim Dean

Wallace headshotHarvey Wallace is the interim dean of the College of Professional Studies. He first joined Northern as a professor of school and community health in 1978.
