The next few years should be exciting and rewarding as you expand your skills, challenge yourself and pursue your academic career.
To make your transition to graduate studies as smooth as possible, the Graduate Studies Office holds an annual orientation session. This year’s session will be on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
This mandatory orientation will give you background information regarding the university community, the many services provided by NMU, and the Marquette area. More importantly, the orientation session will focus on establishing your identity as a graduate student and discuss the goals and requirements you will need to set and meet in the next few years.
You should receive a letter in the mail about this orientation shortly after you are accepted into the graduate program at NMU. Please register for the orientation program by returning the completed form enclosed with the letter to:
