    The ©®EA contest was designed to encourage interest in and understanding of intellectual property and its protection through patents, trademarks and copyrights. It is an extension of the ©®EA Intellectual Property Resource Guide that has been developed for teachers and other educators. This year's contest will focus on using knowledge of the intellectual property system to invent or create alternative energy solutions for transportation. Three individuals or teams each from the high school, middle school and elementary school entries will be selected for an all-expenses-paid trip to an exciting awards and recognition event in Washington D.C., where they will compete for over $20,000 in prizes.

    The NCEE/Goldman Sachs Foundation National Economics Challenge provides the excitement of an athletic competition to academic excellence. In each competition, teams of students answer rigorous questions on microeconomics, macroeconomics and international economics.
  • Michigan Council for Economic Education "A Picture is Worth a 1,000 Words" Calendar Contest
    The Michigan Council on Economic Education "A Picture is Worth a 1,000 Words" poster contest was developed to make learning about economics fun. Students design posters to illustrate one of the six basic economic concepts. Twelve winners will be selected and awarded with savings bonds.
