Spotlight on...Keith Voorheis

This week’s spotlight is on Keith Voorheis, Superior Edge recipient and the newest Superior Edge student coordinator.  Keith is a senior political science/economics double major with the hopes of attending law school. 

When he graduates in May, Keith will not only have a diploma from NMU, but he will also have a resume packed full of invaluable experiences such as his time serving on the Student Finance Committee as well as ASNMU.  He will also be able to share diverse ideas at his future job because he studied abroad in Portugal.  Having completed the Student Leader Fellowship Program, Keith is poised to be able to handle different group dynamics and leadership styles in his future community.  And lastly, when Keith is applying to law schools, he will have knowledge of real world practices based on his internships with the Environmental Law Group LLC and Time Magazine.  Of course, throughout all of these experiences, Keith has had Superior Edge to help him manage, keep track of, and reflect upon his time at NMU. 

We are happy to have Keith join the Superior Edge staff and to complete the entire Superior Edge.  Congratulations, Keith!
