Community Partnership Program

The Community Partnership Program connects NMU student organizations with community organizations in the Marquette area for ongoing volunteer support.  Community organizations are matched with student organizations of similar interest (i.e. Habitat for Humanity with the NMU Constructors and Marquette General Hospital with the Pre-Med Club.).  These student organizations pledge a certain number of hours per week or month to serve the community organization’s volunteering needs.

Student organizations pool resources among members, providing ongoing, predictable volunteer support to community organization.  Students gain valuable real-life experience in a field of interest, as well as form relationships with community members off campus.
