The Zeta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta was chartered at Northern Michigan University in 1989. We are an international woman’s fraternity with chapters all over the U.S. and Canada. Our philanthropy is the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation which raises money for diabetes research. Our chapter holds various philanthropy events in which we raise money for the foundation. Over the 2006-2007 school year, we raised over $2000 and became a Jewel Chapter with our International Headquarters. We participate actively in community service projects such as Relay for Life, Make a Difference Day, and Spring Into Service. We also participate in Homecoming, Winterfest, and Greek Week. We have two formals a year and many mixers with the other Greek organizations. The sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta strive for academic excellence and work together to achieve this. As sisters we all have a strong bond of sisterhood which will last a life time. We have many sisterhood events throughout the year which al oru members love to go to. In fall 2009 Alpha Gamma Delta will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on NMU’s campus. For more information please e-mail agd@nmu.edu. We hope to see you at recruitment! |
