Family Weekend 2009

Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18

WHAT IS FAMILY WEEKEND?
Family Weekend is a time for you to feel a part of your student’s college experience at Northern Michigan University.  The schedule of events includes a variety of activities for your family to enjoy and it also allows for informal time with your son or daughter.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO PARTICIPATE IN FAMILY WEEKEND?
• Contact a local motel of your choice if you require overnight accommodations (www.marquettecountry.org) or call the Marquette Country Convention & Visitors Bureau (906-228-7749).  Note:  This should be done as soon as possible!
• Purchase tickets for ticketed events as soon as you decide which activities you would like to participate in.  Tickets can be obtained through the NMU Ticket Office (http://www.nmu.edu/tickets, by telephone at 906-227-1032, or in person at the Superior Dome, TCF Bank in the University Center, or at the Forest Roberts Theatre).  Football and Tailgate Party tickets are available NOW and can be purchased at anytime.
