The 2010 Fall Fest will be held on Monday, August 23, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Academic Mall.
Free food. Free entertainment. First day of classes. Center of NMU's campus. What does this combination mean for your agency? A wonderful, can't-miss opportunity to recruit volunteers for the coming academic year.
Fall Fest is an "opportunity fair" where many students come to get information on how they can get involved on campus and in the community. To draw in more students and add to the overall atmosphere, the Center for Student Enrichment provides a roving artist and free ice cream. If your business is interested in participating in the 2009 Fall Fest, please contact the Lake Superior Community Partnership at (906) 226-6591. If your volunteer agency would like to participate, please call the NMU Volunteer Center at (906) 227-2466.
