Fall 2007 Weekend College for Kids
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-7. Each session is $10.00 per child.
Sign up by calling the Seaborg Center at 227-2002. Registration begins on Monday, September 10.
ALL classes run from 9:00 - noon.

- K & 1st grade — Fall Trees: Investigate, identify, and compare trees.
- Grades 2 & 3 — Ideas & Inventions: Use the carbon-printing technique to observe things not easily seen.
- Grades 4 & 5 — Plane Sense: Conduct investigations of model plane flight.
- Grades 6 & 7 — The Human Brain: Learning and Memory: Explore new strategies for learning and remembering.

- K & 1st grade — Fall Leaves: Investigate, identify, and compare leaves.
- Grades 2 & 3 — Chromatography: Conduct investigations and build explanations with color writing.
- Grades 4 & 5 — Catapults: Design, build, and test model catapults.
- Grades 6 & 7— The Human Brain: Perception: Conduct experiments for understanding of depth perception, optical illusions and how we see motion

- K & 1st grade — Trees through the Seasons: Investigate seasonal changes in trees and their structures.
- Grades 2 & 3 — Reflecting Investigations: Use mirrors to conduct investigations of things not easily seen.
- Grades 4 & 5 —Swingers: Design, build, and test behaviors of pendulums.
- Grades 6 & 7— The Human Brain: Sensory Investigations: Participate in the Three Senses Festival.
