Show Me the Money: The Tiny Warrior’s Path to Financial Success ,On Monday, November 9 teachers of 6-12 grade classrooms lead students in playing games andcompleting exercises that taught how to take the Tiny Warrior’s path to financial success through entrepreneurship and market economics. D. J. Vanas, author of The Tiny Warrior,was the keynote speaker. Highlights.

The 13th annual U.P. Indian Education Conference was held on Monday, September 21. Keynote presenters were Maheengun and Bernadette Shawanda of the Great Lakes Cultural Camps who talked about their work with school districts in Ontario.

Kelly Church is a fifth generation Native American Black Ash basket maker. She gives demonstrations and classes to groups of all ages. Kelly was on NMU's campus, September 21, 2009, at 7pm  teaching another basket weaving class. Her last one was in April.. April's highlights.   September's highlights.
