Synopsis:

The truths of the past come to light in a series of haunting visions in this drama starring Adam Beach, Tantoo Cardinal, Wes Studi and Georginia Lightening director and actress. Traumatized by the strange visions that grow more vivid with each passing day, a young woman of Native American heritage begins piecing together a priest’s sinister plot to prevent her mother from speaking the truth about the atrocities that unfolded at a Native Indian boarding school.

 Older than America premiered on June 6 2009 at Jamrich hall here on campus. It was a great night and a huge success. Before the film we had the honor of listening to The Four Thunders singers and the director of the film Georgina Lightening was at hand after the film to answer all of our questions.
