| Qualifications: | Required Qualifications: • Enrolled as a full-time NMU student • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Microsoft Office Proficiency • Familiarity with a course management system such as WebCT. • Aptitude for learning software applications • Good file management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with any of the following: HTML, XML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, non-linear video editing, Adobe Flash, ActionScript Graphic design experience | |||
| Duties: | Purpose: Under supervision of the Instructional Technologist, assist instructors in utilizing the course management system and other instructional technology for the development and delivery of instructional resources. Essential Duties: • Load test banks and assessments into the course management system. • Assist instructors with basic/intermediate tasks in the course management system. • Assist instructors with the conversion/development of instructional materials for classroom and online delivery using a variety of software applications. • Communicate with instructors in a professional manner in the lab, on the telephone, and via email. • Route instructor calls/emails to others when appropriate. • Document all projects using the Work Order Management System • Other duties as assigned | |||
