Temporary Employment Signup

The temporary labor lists are an effort to connect currently-enrolled students with potential on- and off-campus employers.

Employers should see the temporary employment list for a list of students looking for work.

Students

To sign up for the temporary labor list you can either click here to fill out the application form over the Internet or stop by Career Services for a copy of the form. Students must fill out a new application each semester.

Students who sign up for the casual labor list MUST provide a local (Marquette area) address and must be enrolled at NMU.  Incoming students who have not moved to Marquette should wait until they are settled at NMU before signing up for the casual labor list.

Contact information (name, address, telephone number), etc. supplied by individuals signing up for the Temporary Labor List will appear on Career Services' web page.  By submitting the form to register for the Temporary Labor List, individuals agree to allow Career Services to post this contact information on their web site.

Note: Career Services is not responsible for wage or student liability. We only verify that each student is currently enrolled at Northern Michigan University. Each student negotiates their own wage with the potential employer.

Temporary positions are now located under off-campus positions.
