Marcus C. Robyns, CA Marcus is the university archivist and records manager. He worked professionally in Texas and Oregon before coming to NMU over 12 years ago. Marcus and his wife Suzan have two children. He is a political activist and his hobbies include baseball, baseball, and baseball on Sundays. He occasionally wears jeans but nothing fashionable. Maggie Newberry (a.k.a. Number One) Maggie is the Senior Student Assistant and handles data entry, patron requests, and manages the office. This will be her junior year at NMU. Maggie is an English major with a French and History Minor and really cool hair. Maggie enjoys going to concerts, knitting, watching movies, and drinking coffee at 3:00 AM. Carol Dillenburg Carol is the records center coordinator; she has spent a great deal of time working on the Vertical File. She is a Zoology Major and already has her Associates degree. Ryan Neuschwander Ryan is the MHC grant project research assistant and the Archives’ unofficial technical advisor. He digitizes audio files and documents for various projects. Alison Eberts Alison is one of our Assistant Record Center Coordinators and is a secondary Education major with a concentration in English, and a minor in History. Olivia Ernst Assistant Records Center Coordinator Helping organize the Records Center, and helping with the digital aspects of the Archives, Olivia is a self proclaimed technological nerd, who enjoys science fiction novels and movies.She is a Graduate Bound English major with a minor in German.She has played the bassoon for six years, and has dabbled in playing all the other instruments in the woodwind family except the oboe. Dr. Steven Peters As cataloger, Steve creates bibliographic records for items in the library and archives collections. He also performs maintenance on the records in the online catalog. In the Archives, Steve has been processing the papers of John D. Voelker, aka Robert Traver, and preparing finding aids for that collection.
