NMU/MTU rivalry gets national audience; alumni planning parties

When the NMU football team hosts Michigan Tech, it's always a big deal. But on Thursday, September 18, it will be even bigger than usual. The game will be broadcast on national television.
Originally scheduled to be televised by CBS College Sports Network, Fox Sports Network Detroit has also picked up broadcast rights for the game. The game will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. from the Superior Dome on the NMU campus.
Alumni in Detroit and Chicago are planning get-togethers to watch the 'Cats.
