Submitting an application to NMU is easy. Just answer the questions below so that we may determine what kind of application you should complete. Once this is done, we will also let you know what kind of supporting documents are required.
Northern Michigan University offers rolling admission, which means that we process completed applications all year long. No priority dates, no early admission. You can submit your application and application fee online, print and mail it to us, or we can send you an application form (e-mail admiss@nmu.edu to request an application).
We do not require an admissions essay, a personal statement or a counselor recommendation. However if there is additional information about yourself that you would like to share with us, please feel free to send it along with your application.
