One of the first things you are going to want to do is sign up for a new student orientation session. If you have been admitted for fall semester, you will probably attend a session during June or July. Sessions are available before the beginning of each winter and summer session too.
The orientation Web site has more information about new student orientation. Information about parent orientation is also available on the orientation Web site.
Orientation Reservation Options:
Please note: Orientation reservation forms for students admitted for fall 2009 will be available in early October, 2008.
Each session has limited seating and registration is on a first come, first served basis. The best way to ensure you get the session you prefer is to register now. If not, be sure to return to this page as soon as you make your decision to attend.
The earlier you attend new student orientation, the more choices you will have in setting your first semester class schedule. While sections of popular freshmen-level classes are held for students who participate in orientation later in the summer, you'll have more options if you attend an earlier orientation session.
Also, please be sure to register for housing.
