NMU's National Academic Award is automatically awarded, regardless of need, to first-time, full-time freshmen, who have a recomputed grade point average of 3.0 or higher and a composite ACT score of 19 or higher (900 or higher on the SAT). Transfer students with a minimum 3.0 transfer GPA in at least 12 transferable college semester credits also qualify for the award. It's renewable each year with maintenance of a minimum NMU GPA. NMU offers a variety of other merit-based and need-based scholarships.
Tuition and fees based on 16 credit hours per semester. Room and board based on 2-bedroom, 4-person suite and constant meal pass or equivalent.
* Additional tuition and fees may apply depending on student's major, college or need for student insurance.
