Meet an admissions counselor

Alana Stuart is NMU's admissions counselor who works with incoming freshman from southeastern lower Michigan and Ohio.  She has lived in Farmington Hills for most of her life. Alana started attending NMU in 2004 and graduated in 3.5 years (it is possible to graduate in 4 years!).  Her main passion in life is traveling.  Alana has been to almost 20 different countries!  The next big adventure she has planned is to Havana, Cuba where she will tune up her salsa dancing skills.  In her free time she likes scrapbooking, relaxing, volunteering at the Children’s Hospital, and working out to stay healthy, even though she doesn’t find it that enjoyable!   Alana aspires to get her Masters Degree in International Education and join the Peace Corps.
