From our Inbox

Our admissions counselors love hearing from students who have decided that NMU is the best fit. One of our counselors recently received great comments in an email.  "I am a Freshman at NMU.  I am from the Grand Rapids area and met with you last winter to talk about NMU. Now as I'm gearing up for exams I wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk with me. I absolutely LOVE it here!  It's so beautiful and I'm having a great time.  All of my professors are awesome!  Northern is truly a great place to be."  Jeremy Meyers, Wyoming, MI

NMU's Couch Show

Check out what students are saying about NMU! The couch show was created in the Fall of 2010 to raise student awareness of the many ways in which private giving creates financial and academic opportunities at NMU. More than 270 students had their photos taken in various locations around campus, on an eighties-era couch. Students completed a comment card, asking them to complete the sentence, "I'm here because ________." Click here to see what our students said about NMU.
