Meet an admissions counselor

Paul Johnston is an admissions counselor who works primarily  with freshman students, however he is also one of the main contacts for military veterans who are interested in attending NMU. If you want to know anything about living on-campus Paul is the person to ask as he spent 7 years living in the halls. No not all seven years were as a student! Paul worked as a Resident Adviser (RA) and as Resident Director (RD) in West Hall before coming to Admissions. Paul is an avid mountain biker, road cyclist, cross country skier and kayaker, so he enjoys all of the seasons that the Upper Peninsula offers. He also likes traveling and has been to Argentina, Chile, and Hong Kong.
