Carolyn graduated from NMU with a bachelor of science in elementary education and a master of arts in education in school guidance counseling. Prior to working in the Academic and Career Advisement Center she worked in the dean of students office with the conduct program. While pursuing her master’s degree she was a graduate assistant for First Year Programs and Student Support Services. She has advised various student organizations and is a mentor for the Student Leader Fellowship Program. She is originally from Mount Pleasant, Mich., and resides in Marquette with her husband.
